It has always been our dream and goal to create a small-size chronograph using the standard tonneau-shaped Aerodyn case.
As with all Dubey & Schaldenbrand watches, "Aerochrono" uses a self-winding, automatic movement with 3 sub-dials indicators i.e. a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock … a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock … a small second indicator at 9 o'clock.
There is also a date indicator window between 4 and 5 o'clock.
A closer look at the "Aerochrono" dial reveals a beautiful "Clous de Paris" guilloche pattern. Add to this the blued-steel "Stuart" hands and … this watch takes on a look which is simply stunning.
The beautiful "Aerochrono" case is made of 316 L stainless surgical steel measuring a remarkable 33 x 44 mm with … a thickness of 12 mm. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal which has an anti-reflective coating on both sides.
"Aerochrono" uses a self-winding, automatic chronograph movement with a diameter of 23.3 mm and a thickness of 5.5 mm; 33 rubies; Incabloc; 28,800 oscillations, 40-hour power reserve and a "chronometer"-quality escapement.
As a final touch, all bridges are decorated with the famous "Côtes de Genève" pattern that is then rhodium-plated.
Thanks to its sapphire-crystal case back, one can admire the beauty, functionality and craftsmanship of the movement.
